MEALS BY NICOLE

Growing up, my mother cooked just about every day. Breakfast before school, packed lunch, and a good dinner. Sitting at the kitchen table, I had everything from quiche Lorraine to smothered chicken and mashed potatoes! On the weekends my dad would take the reins,  preparing his infamous broiled T-bone steak, orange roughy (his favorite fish) or even shrimp, where I learned to master the skill of deveining at the tender age of eight. Yes, cooking has always been in my blood. The meal is what brought us together as we ate as a family. Even today as an adult, when I visit my parents, we still sit down together at the kitchen table and have dinner as a family. The meal made us pause, got us to sit still and enjoy the company of each other while having a delicious home cooked meal prepared by my mom.

​With Meals by Nicole, I want to bring back the experience of the home cooked meal and its ability to not just nourish us, but provide an opportunity to take a break from the hectic pace of our lives today and simply enjoy a meal and the company of one another was we partake. Our meals are balanced, full of flavor and most importantly, made with love.

We know that life can get super busy and feeding yourself and family tasty, nutritious meals is important, but not always possible to do with the hectic pace of life.
